I’m just tired of playing by the rules. It never got me anything save for misery. Who’s “rules” are they anyway?

Now, I just do whatever I want and stop caring if the mass majority considers it the ‘right’ thing to do or not. It’s my life and I’m going to live it however I want to.

So pleased to hear that it went really well. Sounds like you had a very eventful and fun weekend. He really sounds like a decent guy and that he treated you very well.

I do agree that yes it did break every rule in the book, but like you say rules are meant to be broken, especially when it’s fun to do so.

You sound very happy and I hope it continues for you.

I don’t really use anything to counter swelling or redness as it went away really fast. Other than that I just use a hydrating day cream.

First off, great to meet you! :O)
Very kewl… I also just had my first IPL on Monday the 8th. She did my entire face with two passes. YOWies! One thing I found out, if I unfortunately ever loose the ability to walk with my legs….I’ll be able to get around with using my ass cheeks because GIRL, I was ALL OVER that chair! She gave me a stress relief ball….lol I’m like, “what’s this for???” Silly me, I sooo found out what it was for!

Anywho, all-in-all it went well. I go back in 3 weeks for my second of 5 or so treatments. I’m going to finally shave today, Thank God!
My after treatment regiment: I’ve been washing twice a day with a mild exfoliating soap and a pat dry. I picked up a wonderful moisturizing lotion called AmLactin. I use it on the area about 15min after I wash-dry. It quickly took away all the puffy and red.

I don’t have much choice in this matter as I have very dark hair and it is prominent so I need to get rid of it.

And don’t forget, if you are going for ‘bottom surgery’ you will need to get that area done months before then. As I’ve said in a previous blog: “No one likes hair inside their vagina.” :p
